From May 30 to June 2, 2013, the 13th World Congress of the European Palliative Care Association took place in Prague. This year, the Ukrainian delegation was the largest in recent years. It was represented by: Executive Director of the League Lesya Bratsiun, Head of the Palliative Care Training Center Lyudmila Andriyshyn, Director of the Hospital "Hospital named after Andrey Sheptytskyi" Caritas-Ukraine Dzvenislava Chaykivska, associate professor of the department of palliative care of the National Academy of Medical Sciences named after Shupyka Anatoly Tsarenko, chief physician of the Ivano-Frankivsk Hospice Iryna Slugotska, assistant of the Department of Hygiene of the Ivano-Frankivsk Medical University Vira Melnyk, researcher of the School of Public Health of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Andriy Danyliv and coordinator of the international initiative "Palliative Care" of the "Renaissance" MF Ksenia Shapoval.

5 poster reports and 2 presentations were presented as part of the workshops on the rights of palliative patients and activities to improve the legislation on access to pain relief and on conducting a study on the calculation of the cost of the services of out-of-home palliative care services "Hospice at home".
