Our Projects
Since 2011, the League has successfully implemented a number of projects in the field of promoting the development of the palliative care system in Ukraine. The League's efforts in 2011-2013 were focused on:
- conducting information campaigns and spreading knowledge about palliative care as a way to improve the quality of life of patients with an incurable disease and their relatives;
- development and advocacy for the approval of regulatory documents regarding the development of the palliative care system and provision of adequate pain relief for palliative patients;
- organization of seminars, conferences, charity events and trainings;
- development and implementation of educational programs for pre- and post-graduate training of various categories of employees of medical and social structures involved in providing palliative care to the population
- supporting regional initiatives for the development of palliative care in Ukraine, in those regions where palliative care is just beginning to develop, etc.
