Dear colleagues!

On behalf of the organizing committee of the Second National Congress on palliative care, we express our immense gratitude to you for your participation in the work of the Congress, your concern for this area and your desire to improve the system of palliative care in Ukraine.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the representatives of the clergy, state authorities, representatives of international organizations, friendly countries, and charitable organizations who took part in the Second National Congress on Palliative Care.

We were very impressed that the number of participants of the Second National Congress on Palliative Care exceeded our expectations by several times and amounted to more than 700 registered people. Considering this, we may not have managed to give enough attention to all the participants of the Congress.

At the Second National Congress on palliative care, an Editorial Commission was created, which will finalize the program documents taking into account your comments, corrections, additions. Send them by October 20 to: ligahp@ukr.net

We will do everything possible to implement the program documents adopted at the Second National Congress, in particular: the Resolution, the Strategy for the Development of the Palliative Care System in Ukraine, and the Appeal.

Articles and reports of the participants of the Congress will be published in the international journal "Rehabilitation and Palliative Medicine" and sent to the authors.

A press conference will be held based on the results of the Second National Congress on palliative care and the finalization of program documents.

Once again, we express our gratitude to you and sincerely hope for further fruitful cooperation, because only with joint efforts we will be able to build a country with high standards of palliative care.
