On October 4, 2018, a regular meeting of the Board of the NGO "Ukrainian League for the Development of Palliative and Hospice Care" was held, at which a number of important issues were resolved. An extract from the protocol is attached.

On the first question:
Knyazevich V.M. proposed to move the date of the Third National Palliative Care Congress from October 2018 to 2019 and approve the date of the Third National Palliative Care Congress at the League General Meeting.
VOTED: "FOR" - 20, "AGAINST" - 0, "ABSTRAINED" - 0.
The decision was adopted unanimously.
On the first issue, it was decided:To postpone the date of the Third National Congress on palliative care from October 2018. For 2019.
On the second question:
V.M. Knyazevich, noted that according to the Law of Ukraine "On State Financial Guarantees of Medical Services of the Population" dated 19.10.2017 No. 2168-YIII, palliative care is a guaranteed type of medical care. However, there are a number of problems, namely financing. The newly created National Health Service of Ukraine will reimburse expenses for medical care, including palliative care, based on accurate data. This requires data from the register of persons in need of palliative care.
He instructed the Presidium of the League to prepare an appeal to the CMU, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Committee on Health Protection of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the National Health Service, with the question of how the state sees the development of palliative care in Ukraine.
Knyazevich V.M. made a proposal to hold the General Meeting of the NGO "Ukrainian League for the Development of Palliative and Hospice Care" in December 2018. As of October 1, 2018, the League has 811 members. In this regard, one delegate from 10 members of the regional organization and the organization in Kyiv proposed to determine the quota.
He instructed the Presidium, which will be held in October 2018, to create a working group to prepare for the General Meeting, to determine the agenda, date, time, place of the General Meeting. He noted that the Executive Directorate of the League needs to conduct an analysis of the statutory activities of each regional organization and prepare materials for the General Meeting of League members. Knyazevich V.M. put to a vote the question of holding the General Meeting of the NGO "Ukrainian League for the Development of Palliative and Hospice Care" for December 2018.

The decision was adopted unanimously.
Regarding the second issue, it was decided to hold the General Meeting of the NGO "Ukrainian League for the Development of Palliative and Hospice Care" in December 2018. Determine the quota of one delegate from 10 members of the regional organization and the organization in the city of Kyiv.
On the fourth question:
V.M. Knyazevich informed about the re-election and approval of the Chairman of the Separate Unit "Kyiv City Organization of the NGO "Ukrainian League for the Development of Palliative and Hospice Care".
He offered to approve the decision of the Meeting of Members of the Separate Unit "Kyiv City Organization of the NGO "Ukrainian League for the Development of Palliative and Hospice Care" regarding the termination of the duties of the Head of the Separate Unit. In connection with the application submitted by A.V. Tsarenka, regarding the termination of duties as the Head of the Separate Subdivision "Kyiv City Organization of the NGO "Ukrainian League for the Development of Palliative and Hospice Care" and approving L.M. Zachek. - Head of the Separate Unit "Kyiv City Organization of the NGO "Ukrainian League for the Development of Palliative and Hospice Care".

On the fourth question, it was decided: To approve L.M. Zachek as the Head of the Separate Unit "Kyiv City Organization of the NGO "Ukrainian League for the Development of Palliative and Hospice Care".
