Meeting with the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine

On May 27, a working meeting of the Chairman of the Board of the NGO "Ukrainian League for the Development of Palliative and Hospice Care" Vasyl Knyazevich and the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko took place. During the meeting, issues of cooperation were discussed. Pavlo Valeriyovych was invited to become the co-chairman of the organizing committee for the Second National Congress on Palliative Care.

The issues of the role and place of palliative care in the social protection system, the mechanisms of interaction of medical and social services, the creation of new approaches to solving the most pressing issues of vulnerable population groups were discussed.

The meeting was attended by Volodymyr Martyniuk, a member of the Board of the League, who presented the concept of social pediatrics. The parties agreed on further cooperation.
