Charity event in support of the Dubensky Hospice!

On October 26, after the performance "Mysterious Variations"! Do not be indifferent!

Dear friends! As part of the week of palliative care, on October 26, a charity event will be held in the Young Theater - a fundraiser for patients of the Dubensky hospice.
All funds collected by the NGO "Ukrainian League for the Promotion of Development of Palliative and Hospice Care" will be transferred to the indicated hospice.
On October 26, after the performance "Mysterious Variations", everyone will be able to contribute to a great cause. Do not be indifferent!

Certificate: All-Ukrainian public organization Ukrainian League for the Promotion of Development of Palliative and Hospice Care (hereinafter referred to as the League) was created on December 17, 2010. The first initiative meeting regarding the creation of the organization took place in November 2010 in Ternopil as part of the seminar "Opening a hospice in Ternopil. Possibilities and prospects". The participants of the seminar decided to initiate the creation of an organization that would unite a wide range of interested people - medical workers, public figures, scientists, representatives of the clergy, volunteers and patrons to promote the development of palliative care in Ukraine.

Mission and principles

The goal is to contribute to the development of the palliative care system in Ukraine, which will provide professional care and support to the terminally ill who need it, regardless of their age, gender, religion or location.

Members of the organization, the League's branches work to ensure the right of every terminally ill person to effective pain relief and treatment, psychological and moral support, spiritual support and respect. Only by creating a proper system of palliative care, Ukraine will become one step closer to European living standards.

An important direction of the League's activity is the provision of adequate psychological, spiritual and ethical support for palliative patients and their family members, the consolidation of the efforts of Ukrainian Churches and clergy, regardless of denomination, to provide spiritual care for palliative patients and their relatives, as well as the affirmation of spirituality and charity among all Ukrainians society.
