I congratulate the participants of the conference "Practice of palliative care in the Eurasian region: exchange of experience"

On behalf of the Presidium of the Board of NGO "Ukrainian League of Palliative and Hospice Assistance" I congratulate the participants of the conference "Practice of Palliative Care in the Eurasian Region: Exchange of Experiences."

Such measures, in each region of Ukraine, are of great importance for the development of palliative care. It is positive that the International Renaissance Foundation remains a stable partner and donor of palliative care in Ukraine. I also want to note that the conference takes place in the region, which is one of the best in the development of palliative care in Ukraine, and one of the founders of this trend – Lyudmila Andriyshyn was nominated for the Award “Order of St. Panelemon" in 2017. It is extremely gratifying to congratulate Mary Kelovay, who has devoted a lot of efforts to the establishment of palliative care in Ukraine and also for our organization.

I sincerely wish the conference participants fruitful discussions and, most importantly, the development of constructive proposals for the implementation and development of the palliative care system in Ukraine.

I would like to invite everyone to the Third National Congress on Palliative Care, which will be held in October next year.
