Another brick in building the foundation of the future UKRAINE
The General Meeting of the NGO "Ukrainian League for the Development of Palliative and Hospice Care" was held, at which three issues were considered:
- Changes to the Charter of the organization.
- Reports of regional organizations.
- Organizational issues.
Appropriate decisions were made.
To summarize briefly:
A real public movement is developing successfully. Despite the departure of some random people or "grantoids". We are present in all regions, we already have more than 500 members of the organization. We are reaching a new quality level. We suggest that authorities and communities adhere to certain standards and rules in the development of the palliative care system. In each oblast, and in the future, in each hospital district, it is necessary to create, as a separate institution, a hospice with an inpatient unit, an out-of-home service and a corresponding branch of a public organization.
Unanimously, on the recommendation of the Board members, the following were elected Honorary Members of the League:
PATRIARCH FILARET, MOST BLESSED LYUBOMIR (HUZAR), LEONID KRAVCHUK, VOLODYMYR OHRYZKO, YEVHEN BYSTRYTSKY, KONSTANTYN HRYSHENKO, YURI SHCHERBAK.
They stood by us at the origins of this noble cause and are now among us.
