The General Meeting was held on December 17

On December 17, the General Meeting of the NGO "Ukrainian League for the Development of Palliative and Hospice Care" was held, which was attended by delegates from all regional and city organizations and more than 30 invited guests. Executive Director of the "Renaissance" MF Yevhen Bystrytskyi, ex-Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Kostyantyn Hryshchenko, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Volodymyr Ogryzko (2007-2009), well-known public and political figure Yuriy Shcherbak and others addressed the participants of the Meeting with congratulatory words.

In accordance with the meeting's agenda, the following issues were discussed and decided upon:By decision of the General Assembly, Vasyl Knyazevich was elected Chairman of the Presidium of the Board.

The Presidium of the Board was elected, consisting of:

• First Deputy Chairman of the Board - Raisa Moiseyenko
• Deputy Chairman of the Management Board - Anatoly Tsarenko
• Deputy Chairman of the Management Board - Zoryana Chernenko
• Deputy Head of the Board - Dzvenislava Chaykivska
• Deputy Chairman of the Board - Volodymyr Tymoshenko
• Executive Director - Volodymyr Tomas

The members of the Supervisory Board were elected:

• Myroslav Pitsyk - Chairman of the Supervisory Board
• Vitaly Mohorev
• Valentina Zaleska
• Victoria Pokoevchuk
• Nadia Vengrin

According to the Order of the Chairman of the Board, the following are appointed as advisers to the Chairman of the Board:

• Volodymyr Martynyuk

• Yuriy Gubskyi
• Mykola Kolesnyk
• Vladyslav Bronov
• Vera Tchaikovsky
• Ivan Sakhan

According to the new edition of the Organization's Charter, which was approved at the Meeting, the members of the Board are the Chairman of the Board and his deputies, the Executive Director and the Heads of local branches. In his speech, the Chairman of the Management Board, Vasyl Knyazevich, reported on the activities of the organization for 5 years, defined the strategic directions of development and thanked the previous members of the Management Board for their work.

The General Meeting approved the Report of the Audit Commission, which was presented by Mykola Kolesnyk. Yevgeny Bystrytskyi, Kostyantyn Hryshchenko, Raisa Moiseyenko, Volodymyr Bachynskyi, Lyudmila Buslaeva, Olga Kolyakova, Father Mykola Batenko, Father Andrii Nagirniak were honored for their significant contribution to the development of palliative and hospice care.
